Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Thanks to Dave Chapman Sr. for all the multiple contributions to the aesthetic of the grounds, the physical upkeep of the buildings and tools. Dave not only is the president of this camp, but he is a devoted father and grandfather as well. Many times he has left work to fix problems here on camp.

Dave, we appreciate your devotion very much and if you’d ever like any help, I know a particular musician who would like to offer his services as your apprentice. Guess who…?

Ethereal Nightmare would like to thank Mr. Walters for his help in moving the big pieces of music equipment for the October roof fund show. Your help was much appreciated.

The Benefits of Mediumship

Author Unknown

                                                         Mediumship brings to you a peace of mind that nothing else can bring. This

peace of mind is such that you feel tolerant toward the whole world, you feel that nothing can trouble you, all your troubles seem insignificant. The peace of mind is such that though you possessed the power to crush your worst enemy, if you have enemies, you would not use it, but tell them to depart in peace.

It is this peace of mind that enables one to successfully pass through the adversities of life and come out the stronger for the experience. The peace of mind is developed by entering the “Silence”.

Prayer for Peace

By St. Francis of Assisi

Lord,

 make me an instrument of Your Peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may seek not so much to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

 to be loved as to love;

for it is in giving that we receive;

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Amen

A Rainbow at Camp Edgewood NSAC

Have you ever wondered what was at the end of the rainbow?

Well, I was blessed enough to find out first hand on Sunday, August 19.

I live at Camp Edgewood and I had left something in the office at the Center.

As I walked across the grass, I looked up and noticed a beautiful rainbow.

Then I noticed that it didn’t disappear off in the distance somewhere,

it was very clear and brightly colored in front of the tall evergreens

that are behind our Auditorium. I decided to look for the end of the rainbow

and I found it landed right on top of our gazebo.

I was amazed, but not completely surprised

as I already knew our camp was a treasure worth more than any pot of gold.

Love always, Cynthia Ann
