Life is only a day Yesterday is but a dream There is no tomorrow So don't rush it away
Life is what you make it Death is how you take it Love should be cherished by all mankind Hate should be left far far behind Cherish each day as it were your last If bygones are cloudy forget the past
Enjoy the earth surrounded by beauty Kindness to all should be our duty Lift up your heart and sing a song For when your day is done, it will be gone.
Don't sit around, worry, fret, and frown For there is so much joy in our day to be found Start your day with a hearty smile And you will find it worth your while.
Be kind to all regardless of poverty or wealth And pray their troubles will end and worries will melt. Should God grant us another day Let's start it off in the same gracious way.
Try to understand each person we meet With a smile, a thank you, and a hearty greet Try to lean just a little their way Remember, Life Is Only A Day.
Let's pray away all the hate we hear and see From abroad and in our own backyard, the land of the free Let's take all guns, bombs, and tuck them away For Remember, Life Is Only A Day.
When you start your day, and you feel a little blue A prayer will help, regardless of what you do Bend your knees and bow your head Remember, God isn't Dead.
